August 1, 2011

During the terrible July 22nd events in Oslo and Utoya, LESS products were up for a real test in a situation nobody thought was possible in Norway.  Fortunately, various organizations within Norwegian rescue have emphasized building preparedness in equipment and training.  It was evident during this unprecedented event that TAS-3 training from Norwegian Air Ambulance proved itself very useful for many of the rescue workers.

New Thermal Poncho from LESS

May 6, 2011

In close cooperation with rescue services in Norway and abroad, we are now testing out a new Poncho solution in the market.

Our technical wizard Ragnar Grimstad dressed in brand new LESS Thermal Poncho.

This solution is developed for typical winter incidents with multiple casualties, i.e. accidents involving buses, train etc.  In these situations, hypothermia protection is often needed for both those that are injured and those not.  You might have injured sitting inside a bus or a train that need cover while waiting to be evacuated.  LESS Thermal Poncho offers basic thermal protection in a functional way, very easy to use.

A great advantage with LESS Thermal products is that it is very cost efficient to build preparedness for mass casualty situations.

Product range of LESS Thermal now includes:

LESS Thermal Bag, LESS Thermal Bag Baby, LESS Thermal Hood, LESS Thermal Poncho
